The Opportunity

We’re looking for a People Operations Associate to help scale and support the employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. This person will play a key role in keeping our People Operations function organized, responsive, and operationally excellent as the company grows.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and creating a thoughtful employee experience through strong operational execution. You’ll partner closely with the People Operations team, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to support onboarding, employee programs, systems administration, compliance processes, and day-to-day People Operations initiatives.

The right candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to grow within People Operations. This role will report to the Director of People Operations and partner closely with the broader People and Talent teams.

This role is foundational to helping us scale thoughtfully. You’ll help ensure employees have a seamless experience throughout their journey while enabling the People team to operate more strategically and effectively as the company grows.

What You’ll Do

Employee Lifecycle Operations

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
  • Coordinate new hire logistics, documentation, system access, and communications
  • Maintain employee records and organizational data within the HRIS
  • Support employee changes including promotions, compensation updates, and organizational changes

People Programs & Operations

  • Help administer core People programs including performance reviews, engagement surveys, learning initiatives, and employee events
  • Support documentation and maintenance of People policies, processes, and internal resources
  • Assist with recurring operational workflows, reporting, and process coordination
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on employee-related processes

Systems & Compliance

  • Support HR systems administration and workflow management
  • Assist with audits, compliance tracking, and policy acknowledgements
  • Help maintain accurate employee data and reporting
  • Coordinate operational support for international employees and EOR processes where applicable

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, employee experience, and operational scalability
  • Help create documentation and standard operating procedures for recurring People Operations workflows
  • Contribute to building a strong operational foundation for a growing organization

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, Recruiting Operations, or business operations
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in fast-paced or high-growth environments preferred
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and common People systems preferred
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed

Bonus Points (but not required!)

  • Experience supporting distributed or international teams
  • Exposure to EOR platforms and global employment processes
  • Experience with HR reporting or People analytics
  • Experience helping improve operational processes or documentation

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $130,000 - $150,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is determined based upon a variety of job related factors that may include: transferable work experience, skill sets, and qualifications. Total compensation also includes a comprehensive benefit package, including: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, unlimited paid time off, generous parental leave plan, and others for mental and wellness support.

While we are a remote-first company, we have opened offices in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area, as an option for those in those cities who wish to work in-person. For all other employees, there is a WFH monthly stipend to pay for co-working spaces.
